Two-Stage Oil-Injected Screw Compressors

Reliable compressed air solutions for industrial applications requiring higher pressure capability and continuous operation.

Two-Stage Oil-Injected Screw Compressor
PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Gurudev Enterprises offers reliable Two-Stage Oil-Injected Screw Compressors from Intello Kompressor for industrial applications requiring dependable compressed air, higher pressure capability and continuous operation.

A Two-Stage Oil-Injected Screw Compressor compresses air through two successive compression stages instead of completing the entire compression process in a single stage.

In the first stage, atmospheric air is compressed to an intermediate pressure. Depending on the compressor design, the air may pass through an interstage cooling arrangement before entering the second stage.

Oil is injected during compression for lubrication, cooling and sealing, followed by oil separation before compressed air is delivered to the plant air system.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

How Does a Two-Stage Screw Compressor Work?

The compression process is completed through two successive stages to achieve the required discharge pressure.

Stage 1 – Initial Compression

Atmospheric air enters the compressor through the intake system and is compressed by the first airend to an intermediate pressure.

Interstage Cooling

Depending on the compressor design, the air may pass through an interstage cooler to help manage compression temperature before the second stage.

Stage 2 – Final Compression

The second airend further compresses the air to the required discharge pressure.

Oil Separation

Oil used during compression is separated from compressed air through the oil separation system and returned to the compressor oil circuit as applicable.

Final Air Delivery

The compressed air is supplied to the air receiver and downstream air treatment system for industrial use.
